Himolla is currently one of the largest manufacturers of upholstered furniture in Europe. It has a production area of 83,000 square meters, where about 1,100 employees work every day producing more than 1,600 upholstered furniture across 500 different models.
From its factory in Taufkirchen, located in the region of Bavaria, chairs, armchairs and relaxing sofas are produced that are subsequently sold exclusively within its network of authorized points of sale.
Technology and comfort
Himolla has the most modern production machinery in the industry due to its continuous investments in technology.
But its technological innovation cannot only be seen within the factory; rather, as a result of its commitment to environmental protection, the plant’s exterior is an authentic photovoltaic plant equipped with more than 3,700 modules and 46 inverters that supply 90 percent of the electricity consumed by the inhabitants of Taufkirchhen.
The comfort of their seats starts from the design, which is designed based on the ergonomic characteristics of people so that when they sit in their armchairs and relax sofas they can feel a perfect and snug sensation in the whole body.
